You know those scenes in movies/tv shows where two characters are usually in the middle of a fight and one walks out the door and slams it or something, and then neither can see the other but both of them hover at the door and usually inch toward the doorknob or else watch for it to turn, and they lean on either side of the door, not knowing that the other one is right there with them…
